During their visit, the team explored how our Massbox (LALI-TOF-MS) provides high-resolution elemental mapping to identify and analyze defects in 3D-printed materials. Using a 3D-printed iron disc, the Massbox revealed critical elemental variations and structural insights to support materials development and quality control.
We thank the University of Michigan-Dearborn team for their collaboration and LIFT for organizing this impactful contest.
