Prior to joining Exum’s team, Jon spent the better part of a decade as an Analytical Chemist and PhD candidate at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University, where he performed multidisciplinary research and method-development using a wide range of analytical instruments and techniques. He received his PhD in July 2020! When he isn’t exploring new applications for the Massbox, Jon enjoys rock climbing, surfing, and bonding with his dog Kona.
